Property Brokers has proudly looked after the real estate needs of provincial New Zealanders since 1986. A family business that started with five people in 1986 and has grown into a team of over 850 strong, now with more than 85 offices throughout New Zealand.
I joined Property Brokers in 2019 during the first year of a full rebrand, stepping into a key role within a ten-person in-house design team. As Brand and Creative Lead, I was responsible for evolving the brand to thrive in a highly competitive real estate market — managing the creative team while supporting 450+ salespeople across the country.


Design Leadership at Scale
Over five years at Property Brokers, I led and delivered a wide range of major brand initiatives — from a complete redesign of the company’s public-facing website to the creative direction of national brand and tactical campaigns. I art directed divisional photo and video shoots across the country, and oversaw the transformation of numerous buildings into branded Property Brokers branches through thoughtful signage and environmental design.
Each project required strategic planning, creative execution, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to maintain consistency and impact at scale.
Website Redesign
I led the complete overhaul of the Property Brokers website — from early UX wireframes to high-fidelity UI mockups. The project involved designing over 100 pages and interface components, working closely with development teams to ensure seamless execution. The goal was to create a user experience that was simple and intuitive, while also meeting the individual needs of 500+ salespeople and their unique property listings.



Office Signage and Environmental Branding
Transforming buildings into recognisable Property Brokers branches across New Zealand, I designed signage systems, developed detailed rollout plans, specified materials and colour palettes, and worked directly with signage fabricators and installers. The goal: consistency, pride, and place-based brand presence.



Evolving the Brand
As part of Property Brokers’ ongoing growth, I played a key role in evolving the brand to better serve new audiences and improve design functionality across key touchpoints. I oversaw the development of the Luxury Portfolio product — a refined offering for high-value vendors that introduced a more premium aesthetic and positioned the brand confidently within the luxury property space. I also modernised the company’s fleet signage, simplifying the design to reduce visual clutter while introducing cost savings by eliminating vinyl from high-wear areas like roofs and bonnets. Before I moved on, I laid the foundations for an updated marketing design system — giving agents a more flexible and contemporary toolkit to express their personal brands and better align with their local markets.
